Primary Prevention

This initiative helps us ensure that we are reaching area youth and the wider community. We are invested in an innovative approach that empowers our community through delivery of educational programming via radio, social media, and local print publications. Additionally, collaborative work is on-going with area educators and students to decrease disconnection in youth to prevent substance use disorder.

Youth Photography Project January 2019

Coalition member Joe Damone, in collaboration with instructor Lindy Lapin from ONC Boces in Grand Gorge, NY, mentored students as they produced images of what they liked and disliked in our community. Their collective work informs and supports current and future projects of the Coalition and our partners.
